Specified to your load
We start with what moves in the car: the heaviest load, its footprint and how it is loaded. From that we set the rated load, the car size and the door opening. A typical specification for a manufacturing plant: 2,000 kg rated load, a 2,200 × 2,200 mm car and a 1,200 × 2,100 mm door serving five stops.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a passenger lift and a goods lift?
A goods lift is designed mainly to carry loads, so it has a larger and more robust car, a higher rated load and wider doors. A passenger lift prioritises ride comfort and interior finishes. We advise on the right type for how the lift will be used.
What load capacities are available for goods lifts?
Goods lifts are sized to the load. Common capacities start around 1,000 kg and go up to several tonnes. Tell us the heaviest load and how it is loaded, and we will specify the rated load, car and door size.
Can you replace the doors on an existing goods lift?
Yes. We replace manual doors with automatic doors and supply fire-rated landing doors for existing lifts, including lifts from other manufacturers.
